Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

She Might supports women through an unexpected pregnancy. Some of what you share with us is health information, and this policy explains how we handle it. It adds to our Privacy Policy, which covers everything else.

THE HEALTH DATA WE COLLECT
  • Your answers to the Pregnancy Clarity Quiz and the Workplace Assessment, and the results we work out from them
  • Coaching intake details, such as pregnancy history, mental health background, the concerns you choose, and your expected or confirmed decision
  • That you’ve booked or attended coaching, and the details of your appointments
  • If you opt in to research: your visits to our Site, linked to each other and to your record from the time you opt in
WHERE IT COMES FROM

Directly from you, when you answer the quiz or assessment, fill in a coaching intake, or book an appointment. If you opt in to research, also from your use of our Site after you opt in.

WHY WE COLLECT AND USE IT
  • To give you what you asked for: your quiz or assessment results, your coaching booking and sessions, and reminders about them
  • For research to better support women navigating unexpected motherhood, only if you’ve opted in
  • To keep our services secure and to comply with the law

We don’t sell your health data or share it with advertising services.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

Your coach sees the intake details and appointments for your sessions. Beyond She Might, we share health data only with service providers that process it on our behalf:

  • Netlify and Neon — hosting the Site and its database
  • Brevo — sending emails and text messages about your appointments
  • Google Calendar and Google Meet — scheduling and hosting coaching sessions

We may also disclose it when the law requires, such as in response to a subpoena or other lawful request.

DE-IDENTIFIED BROWSING ISN’T HEALTH DATA

For every visitor, we keep a de-identified record of how the Site is used, described in our Privacy Policy. Each visit is recorded on its own, with no link to other visits, to your name or contact details, or to anything you’ve told us. We publicly commit to keeping it de-identified and to never attempting to re-identify anyone from it, and we don’t disclose it to anyone except the service providers that run the Site. Because it can’t reasonably be linked to you, it isn’t consumer health data. Your visits become linked to you only if you opt in to research.

YOUR RIGHTS
  • Access: ask whether we hold your health data, see it, and get a list of the service providers we’ve shared it with.
  • Delete: ask us to delete your health data. We’ll also ask our service providers to delete it.
  • Withdraw consent: opt out of research at any time from “Research Opt-in” in our footer. Your visits are unlinked from your record straight away, and we stop using what you’ve shared for research.

To access or delete your health data, email contact@shemight.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. We respond within 45 days, and if we need longer, we’ll tell you why. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.

Appeals: if we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. We’ll respond to your appeal within 45 days and explain the outcome. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact your state’s Attorney General.

CHANGES

If we change this policy in a way that affects what your research opt-in covers, we’ll ask you to confirm your opt-in again before relying on it.
